VVMC Section 106 Meeting Materials (May 24, 2011)

The National Park Service (NPS) and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund invites your attendance at a Section 106 Consulting Parties meeting for the VVMC.

The purpose of the meeting is to present revisions that have been made to the 2009 conceptual design for the underground memorial center (the undertaking) on the approved site at Henry Bacon Drive, Constitution Avenue and 23rd Street, NW, Washington, D.C. The meeting is also meant to finalize the Area of Potential Effect (APE), identify historic properties, and continue discussions on how to best minimize and/or mitigate potential adverse effects the undertaking may have on the surrounding cultural resources.
