Record of Decision

The Department of the Interior (DOI), National Park Service (NPS), has prepared this Record of Decision (ROD) on the General Management Plan/Environmental Impact Statement (GMP/EIS) for Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site (NHS). This ROD includes the following items: a description of the project's background, a decision statement, synopses of other alternatives considered, the basis for the final decision, findings on any impairment of the site's resources and values, a description of the environmentally preferable alternative, and an overview of public and agency involvement in the planning process.
