Notice of Availability: Horsfeld Concession Camp Move Environmental Assessment


The National Park Service has released an Environmental Assessment (EA) for public review analyzing the Horsfeld Concession Camp Move, a proposal to relocate and rebuild nine structures within a commercial concession facility near Horsfeld, Alaska, inside Wrangell-St. Elias National Preserve. This EA analyzes the proposed actions, alternatives, and potential impacts to cultural and natural resource values that could result from the proposed action. It has been prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 and regulations of the Council of Environmental Quality (40 CFR 1508.9).
