Vacation Cabin Draft Altenative Matrix

Drawing on public input, an Interdisciplinary Team composed of National Park Service staff and stakeholders developed draft alternatives for the Vacation Cabin Management Plan/Environmental Assessment for Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area. The draft alternatives will be available for a 45-day public review beginning July 6 to August 19, 2009.

Two open houses have been scheduled to help the public learn more about the draft alternatives. The meetings will be held in an "open house" format and park service representatives will be available to discuss the EA process throughout the meetings. No formal presentations will be made at the meetings, but informational displays will be set up to facilitates discussion and solicit input on the draft alternatives. The open houses are scheduled as follows:

Written comments may be submitted at the open house meetings or by mail to National Park Service, 1008 Crest Drive, Coulee Dam WA 99116. They can also be faxed to 509-633-9332 or sent via email to www.nps.gov/laro. Comments must be postmarked no later than August 19, 2009. Written comments will become part of the public record and each will be considered in the plan.
