Rock House & Rock Spring Visitor Education Improvements

The purpose of the proposed action is to improve the visitor experience at the Rock House and Rock Spring, thereby offering accessible recreational opportunities apart from existing sights concentrated in a few locations. Both of these features are points of interest for visitors to Mojave National Preserve. A series of actions comprise the project: clean up the site of the Rock House, treat the wood features with a light preservative, improve access from the parking are to the Rock House, construct a connecting trail between Rock House and Rock Spring, and install educational wayside exhibits at the two features.
