Construct Rock Springs Loop Trail

Mojave National Preserve » Construct Rock Springs Loop Trail » Document List

Mojave National Preserve proposes to improve the visitor experience at the Rock House and Rock Spring. Through a series of actions, the site will be cleaned of debris, access to the Rock House will be improved, the wood floors and walls of the Rock House will be treated with a light preservative, wayside exhibits will be installed at both Rock House and Rock Spring, and a trail will be formalized to connect the two features. The purpose of this project is to care for the resources of these outstanding features, and to make an attractive, appealing experience for park visitors.

Comments on the Environmental Assessment are being accepted. Postmark deadline for comments is April 10, 2009.
