Draft Environmental Assessment, Allow Construction of New Structure at High Point Reserved Estate

This environmental assessment (EA) analyzes potential impacts to the human environment resulting from two alternative courses of action within the reserved estate at the High Point Compound. These alternatives are: Alternative A (No action); Alternative B (Allow new construction per plans approved by NPS). Alternative B is the environmentally preferred alternative. Alternative B is the NPS preferred alternative. The impacts from Alternative B range from "negligible" to "negligible to minor." Alternative B will not impair park resources or values.
