Presentation of Findings - June 19, 2008 Public Meeting

On June 19, 2008, Manassas National Battlefield Park hosted a public meeting in the park's Visitor Center to provide the public an opportunity to obtain information on the study and its progress to date. During the meeting, the consultant team gave a presentation to offer an overview of the project's purpose and scope; to outline the project's findings to date, including historical research and the preliminary identification of viewsheds for study; and to summarize the project's next steps.

Please note: the public meeting that was scheduled for October 2, 2008, has been postponed to allow the consultant team additional time to prepare the draft viewshed preservation plan. When a new meeting date has been selected, the notice will be posted on this site.
