Northern Rocky Mountain Invasive Plant Management Plan Development
The National Park Service (NPS) is preparing an Invasive Plant Management Plan and Environmental Assessment for ten parks located in the northern Rocky Mountains. This plan will be used to direct NPS management of invasive plants and will include the use of a suite of tools that will allow the parks to effectively manage and limit impacts to natural and cultural resources from invasive plants/noxious weeds.
Over the next year, the NPS will begin the process of developing alternatives and assessing the potential impacts of these alternatives on the park sites listed above. Those wishing to provide comments Prior to alternatives development should submit them no later than March 15, 2008.
