Georgetown University Boathouse/Land Transfer Notice of Intent/EIS


The Department of Interior, National Park Service, is announcing a 45-day public scoping period to solicit public comments on the proposed land exchange and construction of a boathouse for Georgetown University on the Potomac River. During this scoping period, the public is invited to identify any issues or concerns they might have with the proposed project so that the National Park Service can appropriately consider them in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). You may submit comments electronically through this website or submit written copies to the below listed address. Only written comments can be accepted.
