Plan of Operations - Cimarex Energy Co. Sour Lake 3-D Seismic Survey
Cimarex's plan of operations submitted to the NPS. Copies of the plan of operations including a signed affidavit of compliance are availible for review at the Preserve's Visitor Center in Kountze, Texas. Copies of mineral agreements regarding the proposal submitted to the NPS are on file at Big Thicket National Preserve Headquarters, also in Kountze, TX. These documents are also available for public inspection. Please contact Dusty Pate, Oil and Gas Program Manager, at 409-951-6822 to schedule an appointment.
The approved plan of operations for this proposal includes several parts as described below:
A .pdf copy of the plan of operations submitted to the NPS by Cimarex.
Maps showing the proposed activities in relation to the Big Thicket National Preserve boundary and Special Management Areas under the Preserve's Oil and Gas Management Plan.
The emergency response plan for the proposed project as revised in response to comments received between 10/10/2006 and 11/09/2006.
Examples of materials to be given to hunters in the Lance Rosier Unit of the Preserve regarding the proposed project.
The large scale poster produced for display in the Preserve's Visitor Center and at a Hunter Parking Area in the Lance Rosier Unit as per the plan of operations.
