Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site Trails Plan Draft Environmental Assessment November 2026


This proposed Trails Plan and Environmental Assessment (EA) for Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site evaluates the potential impacts of two alternatives: 1) take no action, and 2) adopt the Trails Plan that would include constructing new multi-use and pedestrian trails, rerouting existing equestrian trails, and adding interpretive elements where needed. The plan is intended to improve visitor safety, accessibility, and connectivity while providing additional opportunities to experience the parks' historic landscapes.
