North Rim Recovery: Fall 2026 Public Involvement

The planning effort focuses on the future management of the North Rim in the long-term and presents an opportunity to reimagine visitor facilities, infrastructure, and operations while preserving the character that has made it a treasured destination. Public input gathered during this initial concept phase will help refine redevelopment alternatives before a long-term recovery plan is developed.

From October 6 to November 6, 2026, the public can review the planning materials, including the project purpose and goals, an update on the recovery progress-to-date, a draft vision for the future of the North Rim, and three preliminary redevelopment concepts, in the StoryMap linked below. Comments should be submitted through the project website.
