Reroute of the Denali Park Road away from the Bear Cave Landslide (NHPA Assessment of Effect)


This documents the continued finding of adverse effect to the historic properties within the Area of Potential Effect (APE) of the Polychrome Area Improvements project. Consultations were completed in February 2022 and interested parties were updated in July 2025. The effect will be mitigated through the previously established Memorandum of Agreement for the Polychrome project, in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).
