The National Park Service (NPS) has prepared and executed a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for an Environmental Assessment (EA) it prepared that evaluated the impacts that will result from implementing the George Washington Memorial Parkway (Parkway) South Section and Mount Vernon Trail (MVT) Improvements Plan (Plan). The Plan will guide future actions to improve the roadway and trail while maintaining the scenic and historic character of the Parkway.
