Fort Dupont Creek Stream and Wetland Restoration Environmental Assessment
The National Park Service (NPS), in partnership with the District of Columbia Department of
Energy and Environment (DOEE), is proposing watershed restoration activities along Fort
Dupont Creek located in Fort Dupont Park in southeast Washington, DC. The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requires federal agencies to evaluate a range of reasonable alternatives and provide an analysis of impacts the alternatives could have on the natural and human environment. Section 3, Affected Environment and Environmental Consequences, presents the results of the impacts analyses.
