Pipestone National Monument » Demolish Buildings 3 and 6 and Restore to Natural Conditions
The planning for this action was completed in February 2008 as part of the General Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement. Review under the National Historic Preservation Act is currently underway. Consultation with affiliated Tribal Nations and the State Historic Preservation Office began June 15, 2020. The park has determined that additional public notice and comment would be beneficial as well.
