Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is proposing an increase in entrance fees from $3 to $5. This would be the first fee increase for the monument since the inception of fees. Fees are used to supplement the park base budget, which has been flat for several years, while basic costs (fuel, utilities, personnel costs), have continued to increase.

All fee monies go to projects which directly impact the visiting public-
Projects currently funded for 2015 include:
1) Repair and Upgrade of the Trail to the Cliff Dwellings
2) Rehabilitation of the Visitor Contact Station at the Trail Head
3) Re-vegetation and erosion control in areas burnt by the 2011 Miller Fire.
4) Upgrade to emergency exit of Visitor Center Museum to meet American's with Disabilities Act standards.

Projects we hope to fund in the future from fee monies:
1) Rehabilitation and upgrade to Visitor Center Museum exhibits.
2) Design, construction and Installation of Interpretive Waysides along the Gila Cliff Dwellings Trail
