The National Park Service (NPS) has assessed the Lower Kaweah Former Burn Dump Site in accordance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). On September 13, 2016, work will begin to remove waste materials from this site. Project work is expected to take approximately one month.
