The EA is an assessment of how implementing the alternative treatment recommendations would affect various environmental factors such as
natural and cultural resources. The Landscape Study has been combined with the EA into a single document to minimize duplicated information and to provide the reader with a clear understanding of how treatment recommendations were developed and what effects those treatments would have if implemented.

Following the public review of the EA and Landscape Study, the park will consider all comments received in preparing the final version of the Study. The National Park Service will issue a decision document sometime after the first of the year.
