Big Cypress National Preserve » Loop Road Rehabilitation and Repair
Before the project can begin, the NPS must analyze the environmental impacts of the alternatives, which will be documented in an Environmental Assessment (EA). If the impacts are found not to be significant, the NPS will document its selected alternative in a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). Construction would begin upon signing of the FONSI and obtaining the required state and federal permits.
