Step 1. December 9—Public comment period officially closes on PEPC site
Step 2. December 10-December 28—NPS reviews and analyzes public comments and makes revisions to application and grant materials
Step 3. January 4—FY2010 grant application materials available
Step 4. January and February--NPS hosts informational meetings to discuss grant application process
Step 5. March 4--FY2010 grant application deadline
Step 6. March 15-19--NPS review panel meets to evaluate grant proposals
Step 7. March 30—NPS submits review panel’s grant award recommendations to the Secretary of the Interior
Step 8. April 30—NPS anticipates Secretary of the Interior will announce FY2010 grant awards
Step 9. November 30—December 4—NPS hosts listening sessions *
Step 10. December 1—NPS mails out postcards announcing 2010 grant cycle
