The National Park Service (NPS) has evaluated Georgetow University's proposal to undertake a slope stabilization project within a portion of the University's property encumbered by a scenic easement held by NPS. The NPS prepared Environmental Assessment evaluates the potential effects on the human environment that may result from the "no action" alternative and the "environmentally preferred" alternative (stabilization of the supporting slope and re-construction of a segment of the existing roadway).
