The National Park Service and Bureau of Land Management are preparing a Comprehensive Administrative Strategy for the Old Spanish National Historic Trail. The plan will provide general guidance for trail administration.

The trail crosses through or near public lands under the administration of:

6 States, including 23 BLM field offices
2 National Park Service regions, including 11 park units
15 National Forests
1 US Fish and Wildlife Service national wildlife refuge

Step 4. Identify environmental impacts and select preferred alternative

Step 8. Remove NEPA language and prepare a draft Comprehensive Administrative Strategy
