The National Park Service is developing a Livestock Plan and Environmental Assessment (EA) to address livestock, horses and cattle, in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The plan is currently in the public scoping phase of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process. In this phase, you are invited to submit comments on the preliminary alternatives, proposed action, and what the EA should address and analyze.

Following the close of the scoping period, the National Park Service will update alternatives based on public input. An additional opportunity for public engagement and public comment will be provided for the EA in summer of 2023.
