The public is invited to review and provide comments on the Environmental Assessment for the proposed Improvement of Access to the Georgia State Memorial.
 
Description:
The public is invited to meet with park staff to discuss the Environmental Assessment alternatives for improving access to the Georgia State Memorial. Meetings will take place at 10:00 am and 3:30 pm on the site of the proposed access improvement on the park's South Loop tour road (Tour Stop 14).

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
Enter Vicksburg National Military Park on Clay Street. Pass through Memorial Arch and turn left on the first service road. Follow the service road past the maintenance area, behind the Visitor Center, and enter the South Loop tour route. Follow the tour route (Confederate Avenue) to Tour Stop 14 (Fort Garrott). Please indicate to entrance staff that you are attending the public meeting.
