Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area Seeks Public Input on Future Stabilization Projects.

A public scoping meeting will be held at the Inchelium Community Center on August 13th between 5 & 7pm. This meeting is intended to draw public opinions for the development of draft alternatives for an Environmental Assessment associated to the stabilization of cultural sites within Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area.

An open house has been scheduled to help the public learn more about the draft alternatives, and what role public opinions play in their development. The meetings will be held in an "open house" format and park service representatives will be available to discuss the EA process throughout the meetings. A short formal presentation will be made at the meetings, and informational displays will be set up to facilitate discussion and solicit input on possible draft alternatives.
