A virtual public meeting to discuss the sites and answer questions will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. National Park Service and Foundation officials will present the sites under consideration and be available for questions. Please note that comments from the meeting will not be recorded, so please submit formal comments for the proposed improvements by commenting online or by mail. Comments are being accepted on the project website from Sept. 8 through Oct. 8, 2025.

 
Description:
The National Park Service, in cooperation with the Womens Suffrage National Monument Foundation, is seeking comments from the public on the site for the proposed Womens Suffrage Memorial. Four sites within the National Mall are under consideration for the memorial: land to the west of the Constitution Gardens lake, land to the east of the Constitution Gardens lake, the eastern portion of the John F. Kennedy Hockey Fields near the DC War Memorial, and the area to the south of the Washington Monument.
