Please join the Open Ocean Trustee Implementation Group for a presentation of the Draft Restoration Plan 3/Environmental Assessment. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments during this webinar.

 
Description:
The draft restoration plan includes eleven project alternatives, of which seven are preferred alternatives. The preferred alternatives would:

• improve seabird nesting colonies through habitat enhancement, as well as predator and invasive species management;
• reestablish seabird colonies by attracting breeding adults to restoration sites; and
• work through collaborative partnerships to identify and implement strategies to reduce the risk of seabird bycatch. 

The total estimated cost of the preferred projects is $25.8 million.
