Please join staff from the National Capital Parks - East and the National Capital Region to learn more about the proposed project and how to submit your comments during the public scoping comment period. The virtual meeting will begin at 6 p.m. (EST).
 
Description:
The National Park Service (NPS) is hosting a virtual public scoping meeting. The meeting's objective is to share information about the proposed Suitland Parkway Trail Extension and Naylor Road Intersection Safety Improvements project and preliminary design options for the trail extension. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions during the meeting. The NPS will also provide information about how to submit comments during the public scoping comment period.

Meeting Directions/Instructions:
This virtual public scoping meeting was held on Microsoft Teams on April 9, 2025. The meeting began with a presentation at 6:00 pm EST, followed by a question-and-answer session. A recording of the meeting is linked below.
