NPS will be releasing the Blue Hills Re-route Environmental Assessment (EA) for an approximately 19-mile re-route of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail (IATR) through the Rusk County Forest for a 30-day public comment period.  The new route will highlight outstanding geologic and glacial features, create more resilient trail, and move current trail off forest roads. As part of the document's release, a public meeting will be held April 13, at the Weyerhaeuser Village Hall.
