Dear Friends of Biscayne National Park,

Biscayne National Park Superintendent Brian Carlstrom has announced the release of the Record of Decision for the Final General Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement for Biscayne National Park. This plan represents involvement from our park stakeholders, members of the public, state agencies of Florida, other agencies and partners, and the National Park Service. The Record of Decision presents the decision by the National Park Service to select and implement Alternative 8 from the Final General Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement. Under this alternative, the national park will be managed to emphasize strong natural and cultural resource protection while providing a diversity of visitor experiences.

The Record of Decision is now available by clicking the "document list" tab on the left side of this web page.
