General Management Plan - Summary

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I am pleased to present the President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site Summary of General Management Planning Requirements for public reference. This document compiles and describes the existing guidance within the park's portfolio of plans in four key topic areas: resource preservation, development, visitor capacity, and boundary concerns.

A park's planning needs are met through the totality of planning documents currently in use at the park, and not necessarily through a single document. This document summarizes information from plans previously developed and adopted as guidance. Because this document is a valuable reference for the public describing key components of park management, we hope you will review the document, use it for your reference, and provide comment on the park's planning portfolio at the "Open for Comment" link on the left menu through October 26, 2018.

Please contact me if you have comments or concerns to share or would like to request a copy of the background documents referenced in this summary. If you would like a summary of the purpose, significance, fundamental resources and values, and interpretive themes of the site, please reference the 2013 Foundation Overview, also available under "Documents List".

We appreciate your interest in the site and look forward to your involvement as we implement our existing plans and embark on new efforts.

Sincerely,

Tarona Armstrong, Superintendent
