Steamtown National Historic Site considers entrance fee increase

Steamtown National Historic Site is considering increasing the park entrance fee and we would like your input. Presently the park's entrance fee is $7.00 per person age 16 and over, children under the age of 16 are free. The proposed fee increase would increase adult admission to the park to $10.00 per person. Children under the age of 16 would remain free. This change, if implemented, would take place in January 2017.

Steamtown National Historic Site last increased its entrance fee by $1.00 in 2011. With this increase Steamtown's entrance fee would be comparable to other nationally significant railroad museums as well as other national parks of similar size and structure.
