Proposal to Increase Fees at Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Great Smoky Mountains National Park invites the public to comment on a proposal to increase fees at frontcountry campgrounds and picnic pavilions and also to comment about proposed changes to the management of three campgrounds by adding them to the national reservation system Recreation.gov.

The park will hold two informational open houses regarding this proposal. Partners, cooperators, stakeholder representatives and the general public are invited to drop by the Oconaluftee Visitor Center Administration Building, 1194 Newfound Gap Road, Cherokee, NC 28719 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on June 20, 2016; and Park Headquarters Lobby, 107 Park Headquarters Road, Gatlinburg, TN 37738 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on June 23, 2016.
