This project consists of repairing all three porches on the Lincoln Home (HS-01), as well as replacing the roof on the Lincoln Home Privy (HS-01C). The project will repair deteriorated porches by tearing off all existing deck boards and replacing with in-kind materials as well as complete any repairs as necessary to the joists beneath the decking. All current porch materials are modern replacements that were installed in the mid-1990s. The galvanized tin flat roof above the South porch also leaks and the downspout frequently becomes clogged with ice and leaks, causing the decking to rot. Once decking is installed, boards will be primed, coated with two coats of paint, and sealed. Porches to be repaired: West front steps, South porch, and East back porch.

In addition, the Lincoln Home Privy Roof will be replaced, which is approx. 100 SF surface, The project will remove existing layer of cedar shingles and flashing, and replace with new cedar shingles and metal flashing
