Rehab Maintenance Roofs, Paint Warehouse Exterior, & Replace 2 Campground Comfort Stations at ML

Natchez Trace Parkway » Rehab Maintenance Roofs, Paint Warehouse Exterior, & Replace 2 Campground Comfort Stations at ML » Document List

This project will entail the rehabilitation of roofs in the maintenance complex at the Meriwether Lewis site in Tennessee. The exteriors of the 1935 warehouse and the 1935 pumphouse will be painted. In addition, two Mission 66 era comfort stations will be demolished and replacement comfort stations will be constructed in their place. The Natchez Trace Parkway Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) coordinator has determined that it would be physically impossible to retrofit the structures to make them ADA compliant. The Tennessee State Historic Preservation Officer was consulted and a memorandum of agreement signed by him and the Natchez Trace Parkway to photo document the structures prior to their removal.
