Long Range Transportation Plan (2018)

Denali National Park and Preserve » Long Range Transportation Plan (2018) » Document List

The Denali National Park and Preserve Long Range Transportation Plan is complete and available on PEPC. The plan is to be reviewed every 5 years.

Denali National Park and Preserve (Denali) is the first national park unit in Alaska to develop a park-specific plan. Denali's Long Range Transportation Plan supplements regional and national LRTPs by outlining park-specific transportation goals, objectives, and possible strategies. The goal of the Denali LRTP is to guide transportation planning and decisions during the next 20 years by facilitating the strategic identification and prioritization of transportation infrastructure and systems needed.

The Denali LRTP is a strategy document and does not constitute approval of specific projects. Implementation of potential projects will require future compliance and public comment opportunity via the National Environmental Policy Act.
