Dear Friends of Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments,
The National Park Service (NPS) is making available for public review a Draft General Management Plan/Environmental Assessment (GMP/EA) for the purpose of establishing the direction of management at the national monument sites for the next 15 to 20 years.
The environmental assessment that was prepared to determine the impacts of the general management plan considered three alternatives including the no-action alternative and two action alternatives.
Because public participation is very important to the success of this project, I ask for your thoughtful evaluation and comment. Hard copies of the GMP/EA are available by request and at the following locations:

The public comment period is open for 60 days and closes May 24, 2010. You may post your comments electronically on this website by clicking on the "Open for Public Comment" link on the left and selecting the GMP/EA document or mail comments by the closing date to the address listed below.
