Notice of Realty Action - Potomac Yard Metro Station Land Exchange

National Park Service (NPS) policy requires a Notice of Realty Action (NORA) for land exchange proposals. A NORA provides a brief description of the proposed land exchange, provides a point of contact for more information, provides an opportunity for public comment and also provides a means of examining documents related to the proposed exchange. This Planning, Environment & Public Comment (PEPC) project will enable interested parties to examine documents related to the exchange as well as provide comments.
The United States of America (USA) proposes to convey to the City of Alexandria (CoA) a certain 0.33 acre fee portion of the George Washington Memorial Parkway (GWMP) identified by the NPS as GWMP Tract 108-014A and a certain 2.19 acre portion of a scenic easement identified by the NPS as GWMP Tract 108-028A. In return the CoA proposes to convey to the USA those certain Prince William County, Virginia, tax parcels identified as GPIN 8188-07-1127 and GPIN 8188-07-2060 being comprised of 7.96 acres, more or less, and 7.13 fee acres, more or less, and identified by the NPS as Prince William Forest Park (PRWI) Tracts 02-102 and 02-103, respectively.
