This important project to redevelop the Gulf Coast Visitor Center site is a high priority for Everglades National Park.
With the completion of the site planning work in 2012 and approval of the park's General Management Plan/East Everglades Wilderness Study on October 23, 2015, the planning work for this project is complete.
Important next steps include identifying funding sources and securing the resources needed to implement this project.
