El Portal John Sun Residence Geotech Borings and Retaining Wall Installation

This project continues the rehabilitation of the John Sun residence located within the El Portal Administrative Site. A previously reviewed and approved project dealt with new roofing and siding materials. Mr. Sun recently repaired the foundation, but failed to secure the necessary building permits and is currently in "stop work order" status with Mariposa County. To proceed with the project and rehabilitate the house for occupancy, official civil engineer drawings are necessary to satisfy the Mariposa County Building Department permit requirements and National Park Service Special Use Permit held by Mr. Sun.
