Equipment will be installed to retrofit the El Portal Service Station providing a fully functional , tested and code compliant gasoline storage and delivery system meeting the Phase II EVR amendment to certification procedures (CP-201) established by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), February 1, 2001. The Contractor must inspect the existing fuel storage, distribution and leak monitoring components of the El Portal Service Station and install specified equipment meeting the CARB Phase II EVR requirements. All equipment must be installed complete with all required testing and certification before April 1, 2009 when all gasoline dispensing facilities in the State of California must have upgraded.

A 200 gallon tank will be installed 15' behind the station including a 2' trench. A small concrete pad will be installed under the tank approximately 5' x 5' x 4". All new dipsensers will be installed at the pumping area. There will be a brief interuption in service while the dispensers are installed; less than 5 days.
