This project will replace the failing lift station located along Abbie Road in El Portal. The new station will be the modern equivalent of the existing station and will be placed directly adjacent to the existing facility. The pumps will be non-grinder, 40 gpm pumps capable of sustaining a 44 foot dynamic head. The new pumps will be rail mounted submersibles or dry well mounted to allow for easy serviceability and eliminate the need for OSHA-required confined space entry team.
