Suffolk County Water Authority (SCWA) proposes to replace the existing Watch Hill Well #1 that provides potable water to the community of Davis Park and the National Park Service (NPS) facilities and housing at Watch Hill. The existing well is failing, and repairs would only be temporary, at best. Upon completion of the new well, the existing well will be capped and abandoned.
