This project will consist of repairing and painting 4,237 SF of exterior surface area on the historic Dubois House. This building was last painted in fiscal year 2004 and is past its life cycle to be painted. Surfaces to be painted include: 18 windows with trim, 1 set of shutters, siding, facia, soffit, all molding and brackets, 276 feet of guttering, 151 feet of downspout and 261 square feet of porches. Repairs will be made as needed to the exterior of the structure. All surfaces to be painted will be prepared for painting by sanding and scraping. A primer coat will be put on any repaired spots, and two finish coats of exterior latex paint will be applied by brushwork to the entire structure.
