This project proposes to convert the current manual entrance gate to a solar powered electrical gate to eliminate the need for staff to be present to open and close the park. The current gate requires park staff to come back to the park at dusk to close the manual gate resulting in the park paying overtime for this activity. Installing electrical components including a timer will eliminate the need for park staff to close and save the park money. This project does involve ground disturbance in a previously disturbed area under the paved road.
