This project will demolish and remove one obsolete trailer and one obsolete modular home. The project will replace the obsolete units with new housing units compliant to the NPS Prototype Design Catalog. The modified design would be cost, energy and space efficient and provide necessary code compliant fire protection. Exterior finishes would maximize sustainability and minimize visual intrusion. The units will be within the footprint of the existing housing location. The new structures would connect to existing utility lines at that location and provide the required compliance with Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABAAS). The replacement is consistent with the park's Housing Needs Assessment.
