Degnan's Security and Alarm System Installation (2018 YH)
Yosemite National Park » Degnan's Security and Alarm System Installation (2018 YH) » Document List
Loss Prevention Cameras: Eighteen cameras will be installed. Three will be in public view covering point of sale locations above the registers on both floors. The remainder will be installed in back of the house locations, such as hallways, offices, and drop safe room. Cameras, camera housings, and exposed wire will be black or white, or brown depending on the background mounting. The dome, ceiling-mounted cameras measure 5.5" in diameter by 4.8" in height.
Intrusion Alarm System: This project will install an intrusion alarm system to provide a layer of protection to assets within the Degnan's building. The new system will connect to the telecommunications system inside the fire control/IT room. All internal wiring from the fire control room to the system is low voltage to the devices. System wires will run to two keypads out of public view, one inside the ground floor employee entrance, and another inside the executive management hallway. The keypads are white and measure 8" by 4.375" by 1".
The Sonitrol system installation includes several discrete audio sensors attached to cover possible points of entry. Eight audio sensors will be installed on the first floor and four will be installed on the second floor (see attached building plan). All the sensor wiring will be out of view from the public and will run and join existing wiring pathways back to the I.T./fire control room at the back dock where both the camera and alarm system electronic headend will be located. The audio sensors require low voltage wiring. The sensors are white and measure 3.25" by 1.68" by 0.93".
