The National Park Service (NPS) received an application from Verizon Wireless proposing the installation of a wireless telecommunication facility (cellular) in Crater Lake National Park. The location proposed in the pending application is along Oregon Highway 62 near the park south entrance station at Annie Creek. The site is located in an administrative area not open to the public.

At this time the NPS is reviewing the proposal provided by Verizon, but has not yet approved the installation of any facilities.

The National Park Service (NPS) provides this notice upon the receipt of a completed application in order to determine if other providers are interested in co-location at these sites. A copy of the application is available on this site for review. Please contact us if your company has an interest in installing equipment at these locations now or in the future. This information will greatly assist the NPS in planning for these proposed sites should they be approved.
